Walthomstow Parish 4 - 3 Tollington Park

This game is starting to become a rivalry between two teams who tend to finish in a similar position every year.

Walthamstow took an early lead with a shot that flew past Michael into the top corner from just outside the box. Walthamstow then doubled their lead in bizarre fashion when the ball seemed to quite clearly go off the pitch by a yard before it was hooked over Michael for 2-0.

TP the got a goal back when Calvin jinked past two defenders and curled past the goalkeeper.

TP started to play much better football and were unfortunate when the Walthamstow winger struck a worldie from outside the box and curled into the far corner.

Things looked to be getting worse for TP as a corner was cleared and a defender hit a volley only for Michael to make an outstanding stop by flinging himself left to tip the ball wide.

TP then got themselves back into the game when Calvin lashed a loose ball home when there was a mix up in the area. TP then levelled when Calvin was played through and he headed passed the on coming keeper for his FIRST TP hatrick. Walthamstow re established their lead when a corner was hooked on and tapped in at the far post before hanging on to take the points.
